Information we collect
When you sign in, the hosting identity provider supplies a site-specific user ID, email and optional display name. We store profile preferences, saved items, follows, listings, claim details, reports, uploaded photos and optional marketing consent records.
Personal directory
Personal profiles are voluntary and for adults 18 and older. Create only your own profile. Publishing requires explicit consent. Name, city, description, photos and any contact details you enter become public. Contact details are optional. Do not include a home address, birth date, identity documents or sensitive personal data. You can edit or delete the profile in your account. Changes require review. Report impersonation or unwanted disclosure using the profile Report control.
Public information
Published listing titles, descriptions, photos, location, business details and the contact method you choose are public. Account email is not published unless you explicitly include it in a listing. Use a dedicated contact method and do not post sensitive personal data.
Optional location
You can enter a city or ZIP without sharing device location. If you choose Near me, your browser asks permission. Coordinates are used for that search, not saved to your account. They may appear in the search URL and browser history. Business proximity uses city-level coordinates; private seller home coordinates should not be published.
How information is used
We use information to operate accounts, publish listings, save preferences, review claims and reports, prevent abuse, and measure discovery. We use first-party page-view and outbound-click analytics. A daily hash derived from request IP and browser user-agent estimates visitors. Site traffic uses a random daily salt; visitor estimates cannot be combined into an exact unique-person total across days. Raw IP, full user-agent, query strings and full referring URLs are not stored in the application analytics database. Traffic reports include visited public paths, referring website hostnames, device categories and country codes. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable site traffic collection. No analytics cookies are used. Hosting providers may retain infrastructure logs.
Service providers and partner sites
The application uses hosting, identity, database and image-storage providers to operate. When you visit a business or affiliate partner, its own privacy policy, cookies, payment terms and tracking apply. Affiliate links can contain partner attribution parameters. We do not process underlying purchases or payment-card data.
Marketing preferences
Email and SMS subscriptions are optional and separate from account access. Consent records include the disclosure, version, destination and time of preference changes. Mobile opt-in information is not shared with third parties for marketing. Email and SMS delivery are currently inactive; preferences can be changed in your account. If SMS delivery is activated, STOP and HELP controls must be supported.
Retention and your controls
You can edit preferences, remove favorites, delete listings, download account data, or close your account. Closing removes listings from discovery and clears saved items and marketing preferences. Minimal moderation and consent records may be retained to handle abuse or legal obligations. Analytics cleanup removes page-view and event detail older than 90 days and unused photos after at least 24 hours when the operator runs maintenance. Contact the operator for additional privacy requests.
Children and updates
Account posting is intended for adults 18 and older. Do not submit children’s personal information. We may update this policy as providers and features change. Additional legally required privacy controls may be needed before a broader public launch.
